Hello Folks, 

In this tutorial, we will learn how to write keyboard Test Cases. We will also learn about positive test scenarios and Negative test scenarios.


What Are The Test Cases for Keyboard?
Here!!! Important test cases for keyboard given...

  • Verify the keyboard type, whether it is a wired keyboard or a wireless keyboard.
  • Verify the key count on the keyboard is as per the specification.
  • Check that all the keys are available or not on the keyboard. (Numeric key, Spacial key, arrow key, function key, character key, Windows key, etc. ).
  • Check the order of keys in the keyboard as per the QWERTY standard.
  • Verify that the keyboard properly connects to the system or not when plugging the USB into the system.
  • Verify the functionality of each and every key of the keyboard working as per specification.
  • Verify the functionality of keys in combination, like (CTRL+A, CTRL+S, ALT+F4, etc.)
  • Check whether the size of the key is specified or not.
  • Check the colour of the keyboard.
  • Verify that the text written on the keyboard is properly visible.
  • Verify the pressure required to press a key.
  • Verify whether the space between the two keys on the keyboard is as required or not.
  • Verify that the light on the keyboard is any (blink or not on the selecting the specified key.
  • Verify whether the keyboard contains multimedia or not.
